Here are some tips to get you started:

1. Need a yoga mat?
We ask everyone to bring their own mats to classes, but if you don’t have one don’t worry. You can buy your mat in our online store and pick it up at your first class. PLEASE NOTE: – the mats are available for pick up at the following 3 locations only:  35 Rue Saint Roch, 13 Place Etienne Pernet, or 14 Bvd Poissonnière. So please make sure your first class will be at one of these three locations. Mats are available for pick-up straight away after your purchase as long as they are in stock.
2. What class to choose?
All our classes (unless specially indicated) are suitable for all levels. The teachers will give different modifications so both beginners and more advanced students can get the most out of each class. But some styles of yoga or types of workouts are better suited for beginners because of their pace. So, here is our selection to help you chose. What do you need in your life today?

If you are a beginner:


Yoga styles: Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Slow Flow, Foundations of Yoga, Gentle Yoga

Fitness: Barre au sol, Pilates, BodyART.

If you are intermediate/ or simply fancy a faster paced class:


Yoga styles: Generally all Vinyasa Flow Classes, but specifically in our timetable are the Dynamic Flow, Kundalini, Intermdiate Vinyasa Flow

Fitness: Ballet Barre, Bootcamp, Zumba, Yoga Dance Fusion

Firstly, we need to tell you that no matter which class you choose, all of them are guaranteed to help you energise, de-stress and tone up. But some may be more attractive to you depending on which mood you’re in. So, here our selection to help you chose. What do you need in your life today?

4. How to book


We offer convenient and instant online payment and booking for all our classes, workshops and retreats. Here are the steps to book your first class.

  1. Create an account.
  2. Browse timetable and choose the class you'd like to attend.
  3. Click on ‘sign up’ button, and you will be directed to the page where you can buy credit for your class.
  4. Choose the option you want – the money-saving power of a class pass, or the flexibility of a drop-in credit - and complete the purchase.
  5. You are all booked!

Alternatively, you can first buy class credit and then decide which class to use it for. It works both ways. The credit will be stored in your online account on our website, and you can use it any time. If you already have credit in your account, when you click to book a class, you will be signed up straight away.

   

5. Where to go and how to check in?


To make our affordable classes accessible to as many people as possible, we operate in several locations. Be sure to double check the address of your class description, (it won't be in your class confirmation email, so please check the website schedule page). See a map of our locations here.

  1. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the class if you can. But it's OK if you are running late. Students are welcome to join the class up to 20 minutes after the start (although please try to be as quiet as you can, so not to disturb the others and let the teacher know if you are running very late).
  2. Please sign in at the class by giving your name to the instructor when you arrive. For those using our smart phone mobile app, there is an option to self check in (download here – AppleGoogle Play)
  3. If you have any special medical conditions, or are a beginner (but you don’t want to tell in front of everyone) please let the teacher know before the class so he or she can give you any needed modifications.
  4. Enjoy your class!

   

6. What to wear for my class


Different classes have different recommendations. So, please check your individual class description, but as a general rule, YOGA and BodyART are practiced barefoot, Ballet barre, Barre au sol, and Pilates – definitely no trainers/athletic shoes, but you have a choice of being barefoot or wearing socks if you prefer. For all of these and it's best to wear clothes that don’t restrict your movement.

For Zumba: flexible trainers/athletic shoes or dance shoes. For bootcamp (both indoor and outdoor) you will need sturdy trainers/athletic shoes that give good support to your feet and grippy surface. For running, you may wish to get running specific trainers, but any good quality trainers will be good. For outdoor sessions in autumn, winter and spring, think of wearing several layers rather than one or two warm items, so you can get rid of them and then layer up as you warm up and cool down.

7. Cancelling your class


If you change your mind, you can cancel your class attendance for a full refund up to 10 hours before the scheduled start time. The class credit will then be available to use for another class of equal value.
