Here are the main types of classes we offer. Click the titles below to read more about each class style and find one that meets your needs. HathaYoga

Hatha Yoga
By holding postures for an extended period, this style builds strength, concentration, and flexibility.

Hatha classes also incorporate deep relaxation and breathing exercises, and the slower pace also allows for a more concentrated focus of proper body alignment.  These classes are an excellent opportunity to become familiar with the traditional postures that are used in a more fluid Vinyasa class.

YogaDance Fusion
Prepare to sweat, stretch, and smile in this fun combination of Zumba's dynamic energy plus Vinyasa's graceful flow.

Each class is focused on raising the heartbeat and the spirit through simple, repeated choreography in a variety of musical genres and dance styles (no previous dance experience necessary). From ballet, hip-hop, club, and salsa, we'll also infuse the class with traditional Yoga postures among the choreography to expand your personal practice while teaching the body to find natural alignment throughout the day. Come give it a try!

 

Pilates

Barre au Sol (Floor Barre)
This conditioning class features floor-based ballet training exercises (a mat or a towel is strongly recommended). The class is practiced from seated and prone postures (lying on the stomach), providing a low-impact workout that won't compromise on challenge and efficiency!

The combined elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga form a challenging and engaging workout which will work your legs, hips, glutes, and core in an efficient and dynamic way. The focus is on toning, increasing flexibility, and increasing alignment awareness whilst developing heightened coordination and muscle control.

Vinyasa Yoga
This flowing, energizing transition of core postures will help you build strength, flexibility, balance, and focus.

Classes link together the traditional yoga asanas / postures while giving focus to active meditation. This could be considered a more 'active' class than our Hatha offerings. It is dynamic yet soft in nature, and relaxation is often reserved to the end of the session.

Pilates & Core Fusion
If you're looking to sculpt lean muscle, strengthen your abs, and burn fat, this class is for you. Pilates is a system of controlled exercises that engage the mind and condition the total body.

The blend of strength and flexibility training improves posture, reduces stress, and creates long, lean muscles without bulking up. Pilates takes a balanced approach so that no muscle group is overworked and the body moves as an efficient, holistic system in sport and daily activity.

 

BalletBarre

Ballet Barre
Sculpt and define your body the way dancers do! This increasingly popular exercise regime incorporates the precision of Pilates with the positions, moves, grace and technique of ballet. Add to this the alignment of yoga and the strength from sports conditioning and you have a challenging and exciting workout which stretches and sculpts - you're certain to feel the burn!

You'll see dramatic results as you improve balance, strength, stamina, power, flexibility and motor control. The result is a body that is realigned, rebalanced and works harmoniously and efficiently.

 

YinYoga

Yin Yoga

This restorative style of yoga provides a welcome opportunity to slow down in a world of rush. It incorporates floor-based postures that are held for a long period (generally 3 to 8 minutes). This allows the body to relax into the postures, developing flexibility and serenity.

Yin Yoga is sometimes combined with Vinyasa to provide a complementary mix of styles.

 

HIITbootcamp

HIIT Bootcamp
(Indoor or outdoor) This hour-long combination of resistance training and intervals of cardio will keep your heart rate elevated, burn calories, and increase your lean muscle mass (resulting in an increase in metabolic rate that will help you burn even MORE calories outside class time!).

This class is tailored for those who are looking for a fun and engaging way to increase cardiovascular fitness and strength; all while in a supervised, encouraging, and supportive atmosphere. The workouts are designed with the goal of burning fat and toning muscle to make you feel lean, strong and confident.

Dance Zumba Style Workout

Dance 'n Shape Zumba Style Workout
This class is all about having fun while you shake your booty to a mix of high-energy music. You'll follow along to dance moves from different styles like salsa, merengue, dancehall and hip hop.

The dance level varies from easy to challenging steps, so anyone can join. No need to have dance experience, just jump in and follow along, and you'll pick it up quickly.

AshtangaYoga

Ashtanga Yoga

A traditional form of moving meditation, Ashtanga Yoga focuses on attaining proper alignment in a set of progressive postures that strengthen and energize the body. The class transitions through the standing and seated poses via sun salutations, but with more of a focus on alignment, breathing, energy lock (bandhas) and gazing points (drishti) in a steady pace.

Having the same sequence each time gives room for keeping the mind clear and focused, allowing students to observe how the body continues to change and evolve.

BodyART®
Your body becomes a paintbrush in this extroardinary functional movement training system that combines elements of yoga, kinesiotherapy, stretching, Qigong, and Pilates, plus breathing techniques and relaxation. The result is a class that balances strength, flexibility, and mental concentration.

Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine with principals of Yin and Yang, BodyART® is your course if you want to burn fat, reduce stress, relieve back pain, relax, build up muscles or improve your flexibility.

This playful and creative style of Vinyasa is centered around the use of prana, which can be described as our life-force, our breath, and the movements of life. The flow of this practice provides strength, regeneration, fluidity, and inner meditation.

 

Each class features a creative theme which is carried throughout the sequences of interconnected postures, reminiscent of a slow-paced dance.

Power Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. It is a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and physical and mental stamina in one session. Baron Baptiste, the founder of this form of yoga, describes this practice as “the perfect blend of sweat and serenity.
 
”Vinyasa meaning, “flow” or “to move without resistance,” incorporates interval and cross-training exercises to challenge both the aerobic and anaerobic systems of the body. As your body adapts, it is important to vary the types, intensity and duration of the exercises.
 
Power Vinyasa yoga incorporates regular sequences that become familiar to students, but incorporates variations to modify, intensify, or challenge the body by altering the pace or duration of poses, and the frequency that they are repeated.

A combination of Hatha (static postures) and Vinyasa (fluid movement), this class strengthens the body and calm the mind through focus on breath, proper alignment of postures, and simple yet dynamic transitions.

This high-intensity class builds heat, detoxes the body, explores and expands personal limits, and lets the body sweat!
 

Structured around traditional Vinyasa technique, this class will give special attention to the fluid transition between each posture, allowing for a vibrant and intimate connection to the self. Classes may be structured around full-body engagement, or around a special theme such as backbends, hips & twists, or inversions & arm balances.

This class artfully combines dynamic movement with restorative postures for a harmonious experience of mind-body care.
 

The first half of the class will energise and invigorate, building heat and strength through an active Vinyasa sequence. Then, the second half of the class will invite relaxation and calm into the body and mind through a restorative set of floor-based Yin postures.

 

Because we rent our spaces, props are not always available for the Yin part of the class. If you'd like props to help you get further into some of these postures (belt, bolster, block, etc.), we encourage you to bring your own.

Ashtanga is the original power Hatha class: a very active moving meditation with many opportunities to both strengthen and energize the body. This Ashtanga Basics class introduces beginners to the primary series of this practice. Stretch and strengthen your muscles the way dancers do in this conditioning class featuring floor-based ballet training exercises (a mat or a towel is strongly recommended). The class is practiced from seated and prone postures (lying on the stomach), but it certainly won't compromise on challenge and efficiency!
 
 
The combined elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga form a challenging and engaging workout which will work your legs, hips, glutes, and core in an efficient and dynamic way. This class is all about having fun while you shake your booty to a mix of high-energy music. You'll follow along to dance moves from different styles like salsa, merengue, dancehall and hip hop.

This high-intensity class builds heat, detoxes the body, explores and expands personal limits, and lets the body sweat!
 
 
Structured around traditional Vinyasa technique, this class will give special attention to the fluid transition between each posture, allowing for a vibrant and intimate connection to the self. Le yoga Hatha intègre une série de postures tenues pour entre 30sec et 3mn. On utilise des postures de "repos" entre chaque asana. Ce style de cours incorpore toujours une profonde relaxation et des exercices de respiration, en plus de la pratique du yoga asanas / postures. Le rythme plus lent permet également une approche plus concentrée d'alignement du corps dans chaque pose. If you like the feeling of the positive rush of endorphins, and breaking a good sweat, this class is for you!
 
The main focus is on fat burning and toning of all muscle groups (arms, shoulder, back, legs, abs, and booty) to make you feel lean and confident. We will focus on body weight resistance training with exercises that are designed to engage maximum number of muscles in one movement, and mimic your natural functional movement patterns and hence develop your strength and fitness.
 
We will also do some cardio training, designed to improve your heart-centered fitness as well as increase your body's fat burning capability during, and even after your workout.

This class is for those who are wishing to progress their yoga practice on a more advanced level. The intermediate level offering will follow a similar format as our 'All Levels' Vinyasa Flow classes, but will include a series of more advanced postures, shorter breaks in between sequences, and for those who are hoping to attend on a regular basis, an element of progression.

The class is suitable for all who have been practicing yoga for a substantial period of time, feel confident about the basic yoga techniques, and would like to challenge themselves further.

The class will include less verbal descriptions of how to get into postures but rather more guidance on how to perfect and progress them once you are holding and transitioning through the asanas.
This class is held in English, most of our teachers do speak some French, don't hesitate to ask for help understanding.
 
This 90-minute class will build even more heat than our classic 60-minute classes.

Chakra means ‘wheel’ in Sanksrit, and in this class different chakra theme each week, working with specific areas of the body.
 

In yogic tradition, each chakra is an area in the body connected with life energy. This class will focus on the seven chakras in the body, each of them being an interface for the flow of life energy. A chakra vitalizes a physical body and is associated with interactions of a physical or mental nature. Each week the flow will concentrate on one or two chakras specifically, while also engaging the rest chakras in supporting ways.

 
Meditation and Pranayama (breathing exercises) are also included in this class style.

The very purpose of our physical yoga practice is to prepare the mind for purposeful concentration. We move and stretch the body so that when we sit for meditation, we are able to be still and calm. The door to this state is our intention. The key to that door is our breath.

In this class we will be exploring the different available meditation techniques ranging from Mantra Repetition, Mudra Hand Positions, Chakra Energy Stimulation, Guided Visualization, and Yoga Nidra / Rest. Each of these ancient practices are intimately connected to the conscious regulation of our inhales and exhales known as Pranayama.

In this class we invite the strength of slow-motion to deepen and inform our relationship to the body. This dynamically un-rushed collection of Vinyasa yoga postures pays special attention to graceful transition, intimate body awareness, and purposeful fluid strength.

This class artfully combines dynamic movement with restorative postures for a harmonious experience of mind-body care.


The first half of the class will energise and invigorate, building heat and strength through an active Vinyasa sequence. Then, the second half of the class will invite relaxation and calm into the body and mind through a restorative set of floor-based Yin postures.


Because we rent our spaces, props are not always available for the Yin part of the class. If you'd like props to help you get further into some of these postures (belt, bolster, block, etc.), we encourage you to bring your own.

Le but d'un cours de Vinyasa est de relier les asanas traditionnels/postures ensemble dans un flux harmonieux, tout en donnant l'accent à la méditation active. Cela pourrait être considéré comme un cours plus «actif» que nos cours de Hatha. Il est dynamique mais doux en nature, et la détente est souvent réservé à la fin de la session. La séquence de postures varie d'un cours à l’autre travaillant sur les transitions fluides d'asanas de base pour développer de la force, de la souplesse, de l'équilibre et de la concentration. This flowing, energizing transition of core postures will help you build strength, flexibility, balance, and focus.
 

This class will link the traditional yoga asanas / postures gracefully together while giving focus to active meditation. This could be considered a more 'active' class than our Hatha offerings. It is dynamic yet soft in nature, and relaxation is often reserved to the end of the session.

 
This class is taught in both English 🇬🇧 and French 🇫🇷.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING:

- Comfortable clothes that don't restrict movement* (this class is generally practiced barefoot)

Prepare to sweat, stretch, and smile in this fun combination of Zumba's dynamic energy plus Vinyasa's graceful flow. 
 
 
Each class is focused on raising the heartbeat and the spirit through simple, repeated choreography in a variety of musical genres and dance styles (no previous dance experience necessary). From ballet, hip-hop, club, and salsa, we'll also infuse the class with traditional Yoga postures among the choreography to expand your personal practice while teaching the body to find natural alignment throughout the day. Come give it a try!
 

This class is held in English, but most of our teachers do speak some French, so don't hesitate to ask for help understanding.

This hour-long combination of resistance training and intervals of cardio will keep your heart rate elevated, burn calories, and increase your lean muscle mass (resulting in an increase in metabolic rate that will help you burn even MORE calories outside class time!). This class is tailored for those who are looking for a fun and engaging way to increase cardiovascular fitness and strength; all while in a supervised, encouraging, and supportive atmosphere. The workouts are designed with the goal of burning fat and toning muscle to make you feel lean, strong and confident.

 

 

✅ CLASS LEVEL:
There is no ‘minimum fitness level’ required to participate, all levels are welcome! All the exercises can be adapted to your individual ability without affecting the group, and the instructor will demonstrate all exercises in detail and give different options for participants of different levels.

Whether you are only just starting on your journey to better fitness or are already very sporty and want to increase your performance by cross training, this class will be equally beneficial in getting you to your goal.

 

 

CLASS STRUCTURE: 

PART 1 Warm-up: Each class will begin with a 5-10 minute warm up focused on joint mobility, dynamic stretching, and gradually elevating the heart rate. This warm-up will help prepare the joints and muscles for training, as well as act as an introduction to any movements the participants might not be familiar with.

 

PART 2 Workout: The workout portion of the class (approximately 40 minutes long) contains
a mixture of two types of training:

Resistance Training - These functional movement exercises are designed to engage a maximum number of muscles. As opposed to isolated gym equipment exercises that only work on a few muscles at a time in a superficial range of motion, resistance training mimics your natural functional movement patterns and hence develops your strength and fitness for an improved quality of life. These resistance exercises will be performed either with bodyweight alone, or with the use of resistance bands to mimic the effect of weight training on the body.


Cardiovascular Interval Training- This portion of the workout is designed to improve your heart-centered fitness as well as increase your body’s fat-burning capability during and after your workout. This will involve running, jumping, skipping, and more. The resistance and cardio intervals will contain exercises designed to challenge the entire body: legs, arms, back and abdominals.

 

PART 3 Cooldown: Following the workout, time will be taken at the end to stretch and bring down the heart rate. This portion will contain a mixture of yoga poses and stretches, performed at a low intensity.

 

This class is held in English, though most of our teachers do speak some French, so they can help you understand if you have questions. The great thing about taking this class in another language is that you can mostly learn by watching!

 

WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING, AND CHANGING FACILITIES
As we will be exercising outdoors, there are no dedicated changing facilities. If possible, please come already wearing your exercise clothes:
- Trainers / sports shoes
- Comfortable, layered clothing. Wear something to keep you warm during the warm up and cool down, but something that you can take off during the main part as you may get a bit hot and sweaty.
- Water bottle
- Yoga mat or towel (optional) - to provide you more comfort during the final yoga parts of the class.
